3. Yep...but I don't worry about wars for resources so much with presidents (D).
The republicans will always try to ensure no wars happen for oil (or for any actually valid reasons, for that matter) if the president has a (D). That, and Presidents (D) aren't known for invasions of other nations for resources the way Presidents (R) are.

11. WTF? That's an insult to the memory of everyone who died on
9/11. I agree the Iraq war was wrong, but the Taliban was harboring the people who attacked us and killed 3,000 Americans. Now Obama has to clean up the mess that Bush made. Which is not exactly an easy job.

5. All Commanders in Chief.........
say the same thing. I'm not defending Bush by any stretch of the imagination, but every Commander in Chief since Washington has pretty much said the same thing. American history shows that these words are hollow and meaningless. I'm willing to give President Obama the benefit of the doubt, but I've seen nothing yet that would contradict my previous assessment. Your mileage may vary.

7. For the thousandth time, Iraq was oil, Afghanistan is about natural gas
and staking our claim so the Chinese and Russians can't. How can you have the next war if you neglect to lay a reasonable foundation before you start the slaughter?
