Reporter to Mitch McConnell: "Not to be argumentative, but it sounds like you're saying that this..
wasn't worth it."

McConnell: "But I DO think it was worth it."

Reporter: "But you're saying the same things that you were saying this morning before this meeting."

McConnell: BS about listening to the people, etc.

2. The reporter was asking McConnell why he, after claiming that the meeting was worth it...
was still saying the same things after the meeting as he was before the meeting.

It was a very revealing moment.

4. Yea, I got that. I'm listening to him now on cspan
he's still rattling on the same talking points.

Of course he'd rather help the insurance industry.

3. this whole notion that repubs keep spouting about
"the American people have resoundingly said they don't like this bill" is complete and utter BS. They must be using Fox News polling data-from their own heavily Tea-Partied-up districts

5. The American people do not want a watered down ineffective bill. I want Medicare part E for Everyone

6. The jerks "listen to the people", the people who listen to their lies. No wonder...
...they say the people don't want HCR.

I wouldn't either if all I heard was their lies.

Of course they don't cite any studies that are reliable about how people feel.

7. The only people they listened to were those in opposition to HCR
The teabaggers and health insurance industry.
