I firmly believe that by continuing to discuss and debate the issues, and not existing only in a world that is in constant agreement, we make a stronger party.

FDR is my favorite President with many great strengths and I think I have read most of his biographies.


He also fucked up big time with his avoidance of reassurance after election and before inauguration, internment of Japanese Americans and packing the court.


So now discussing Obama's strengths is hero worship. A good example of how pedestrian and simple minded DU is becoming. Just think of it a Democratic discussion board that discusses the strengths of a Democratic President.

The FORUM at-large is for debating and flushing out thoughts including disagreements.
To have to form a group to not engage with those within your own party is sad.
President Obama has made some good decisions - he's made a boat load of bad, business-as-usual decisions. We should be able to discuss that without being called "whiners" or anything else. Just my .02. Hope it makes it through the echo-chamber filtering.
