Oprah tries to finagle Senator Ted Kennedy's last words out of Vicki Kennedy
And thankfully fails. Her sensationalist manipulative crap show can't end soon enough.

In the most extensive interview since her husband's death in August, Vicki Kennedy said she wouldn't try to run for her husband's former U.S. Senate seat and described how he battled brain cancer – but she would not talk about the last thing he said to her before dying.

"I think I'll just keep that one to myself," she told Winfrey on "The Oprah Winfrey Show."

1. And yet she didn't ask Psycho Sarah why she tried to whip her followers...
...into a violent frenzy on the campaign trail. Softballs all the way. WTF?

2. I loved the interview and I thought it was a valid question and answer
Something tells me that Mrs. Kennedy knew the question was coming and
wanted to save it for another time.

Oprah has brought joy to millions of people around the globe.

She has enough money to do whatever she wants to in life and I wish her the best.

I have also read Sen. Kennedy's book and he shares so many memories that some may think he should not have shared but he did ~ it is an excellent book, I highly recommend it.

Mrs. Kennedy also had a choice. She was there because she wanted to be there to make people aware of the life that she shared with the great Senator. She will get $$'s from the sale of the book for her family of course,Oprah did not force her to be there.

She also had her children on the show to share their memories as well.
If she wanted to keep her family members private, she could have done that - but she had them interviewed as well. They were charming and it was interesting to hear them share their fond memories of their step father.

Ted Kennedy Jr. was on as well.

IMO it was a great interview.

Happy Thanksgiving

3. I am looking forward to Oprah selling Obama's war to us.
I assume somehow that will be made part of next week's show with Obama.

War is peace ya know.

5. I watched the show and thought that the interview was sensitive and
tasteful. I will miss the Oprah Show but hope to see her in other venues.

6. This sensationalist manipulative crap of which you
speak will go on and on and Oprah at least had Getting Out The Vote in 2004 and had people on her show who were getting young people registered to vote.

She didn't come out and say precisely that she was voting for Kerry but she also left nothing to the imagination.

Big deal that she asked..Vickie declined.
