Poll question: If Sarah Palin runs in 2012, how will she lose badly and drop out by the spring?
Edited on Fri Nov-13-09 10:59 PM by zulchzulu

Let's say Sarah Palin runs for President in 2012. Granted, she would be the best chance for Obama to be re-elected in a landslide if she was the Republican candidate.

How would she lose badly in the 2012 primary season and drop out by March 2012?

13. No they won't ...
does any right winger speak out against Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck or even the likes of Michael Savage?

As much as Sarah Palin is seen for the Jerry Springeresque clown she is by a lot of people, she has been annointed by the right wing as the Joan of Ark of the TRUE conservatives, and as much of a plague as she is to the party as a whole and the country, it would make any candidate a pariah to speak negatively of her.

She will be treated with kid gloves in the campaign, and if she bows out any serious contender (IMO, at this point Romney or Santorum) will behind the scenes kiss her butt like their lives depended on on it to garner her endorsement and support ...

14. Rush, Glenn and Savage aren't running for office
The difference here is that Palin would be one among the many hungry for the presidency. And the rest in the field have way more experience than Palin. So I don't think we'd see the deference because it would make them losers. And they aren't running to lose to a "know nothing". Mark my words, the cordiality would disappear quickly. Nobody runs to get the second spot.

15. Sorry, but I'm not buying Santorum as a "serious contender."
The guy won't make it out of Iowa and New Hampshire if is stupid enough to actually launch a national campaign.

7. I think she might run third party if she didn't win the repuke games, and she could do that. Oh man,
that would be fun. Except when you realize that she would be just one contest away from becoming president.

My guess is that she definitely does run, as third party, that she won't quit (unless the pukes pay her millions to do so), and that she will get a significant percentage of votes in some states. She could even win AK. Others?

But would American elect Palin to replace Obama as president? No way, right? I can't even imagine it.

11. Definitely "other."
Abysmal poll numbers as 90% of Americans do not want a president who winks says "you betcha" in a false cheerful sing-songy voice. In other words - A PHONY!

Given what is left in the rank and file of the GOP (dittoheads, FoxNews viewers, teabaggers, Birchers, white supremacists and other reprobates), she should have the nomination sowed up by spring. She'll lose badly in November.
