6. I read somewhere that Michelle's dress was made in India
and it took 3 weeks to make with dozens of people working full time.
It looks stunning, with lots of silk and hand embroidery.

9. It's so uplifting to see world leaders with our fantastic new President rather than with
Smirking Clown-Boy.

It's as if we've rejoined the League of Grown-Up Nations...

19. So true
This makes me very happy. And the leaders who were on both sides of the change look really, really, happy. Especially Angela Merkel the massage recipient!

11. Great photos - that stuck a grin on my face
I tried to imagine Republicans having a dinner with so many colors of people & clothing, but I quickly dismissed the thought as absurd.

13. I read this quote from Pres Obama on another forum..
“It’s been said that the most beautiful thing in the universe are the starry heavens above us and the feeling of duty within us. Mr. Prime Minister, today we worked to fulfill our duty to bring our countries closer together than ever before.”

14. Glad to see that picture of Hillary. I was beginning to think
she wasn't there. I believe this is the only photo of her at the shindig. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Thanks for your usual wonderful photos, Jackeens.
