12. They just reported that he had a heart attack in 2004. I didn't realize that, I knew about the
bypass.

16. I wonder if that was kept quiet because of Hillary
and wanting to be pres?? A lot of people voted for her thinking Bill will be close by.

25. I think they reported in 2004 that he was in great danger
of a heart attack - could it be the reporter simply misspoke -or was this reported as new news.

13. Hopefully, this is a fixable thing.
Edited on Thu Feb-11-10 05:35 PM by backscatter712
Heart problems can be really serious and lethal, but if he's lucky, and the stent solves the immediate problem, Bill Clinton could be walking out of the hospital tomorrow.

Here's hoping that's the case.

23. Yea, the Drs on TV keep saying this is 'maintenance' in many
cases and shouldn't have any long term negative effects. I hope he and your dad are both around for a long time.

17. Apparently they replaced two stents.

Someone on another post said that his office released a statement to that effect. What sucks is that the poor guy doesn't even have his wife around to take care of him. She was at the WH and tomorrow she's going overseas. I hope that at least Chelsea is in town.

:(

ABC said that she was seen leaving the WH and didn't appear to be too concerned.

29. Thanks.
I have since seen on TV that she was at the hospital until 11:30PM. She's postponing her trip overseas for one day. I'm glad that she's there for Bill and Chelsea.

27. May the Big Dog be running off-leash again soon. He still has a lot to give.
I'm sorry he seems to have such a bum ticker, but gods willing he will be with us for many years yet.

Putting in stents, like any other heart-related surgery, may now be common -- but it still carries an element of risk. Every time.

Hekate
