stages of being disclosed. NYT reporting a new sex scandal and the NYPost on Sunday reporting on a charity scandals from the New Orleans hurricane, that ties a NYC Congressman and Gov to a dubious scam.

9. R U joking?
You're going after a Democratic governor on a Democratic blog, and your best support is "Let google be your friend"?

That's weak.

Larger PrintE-mail

The rumor mill is humming with details on the upcoming New York Times probe of Governor David Patterson of New York which is being reported by N.Y. Times journalist Danny Hakim.
Allegedly the story will find Patterson having intimate moments in closets in the Executive Mansion and his wife also being involved in separate affairs. There are also rumors of extensive drug use
In addition, there is talk that state troopers who discovered this activity are warned off the mansion residence and that they have talked to the Times.
The story, expected to run Wednesday is said to be so strong and so damaging that Richard Ravitch, the Lieutenant Governor, is set to step in because the revelations will undoubtedly force Patterson to resign.

15. I really hate this kind of gossip, cause that's all it is.
Edited on Mon Feb-08-10 12:21 PM by FrenchieCat
They really should wait till there is a story there.....
because even if this is true, journalists should know better
than trying the break the story without really any named sources.

I mean Governor Sanford is still governor of SC, and look what he did!
