3. That's what happens when you can't get the people that support you motivated
centrist policies tend to piss off the base.

5. People are more angry at Congress then at Obama.
Dems are in the majority in Congress.

6. The answer is in the difference between Obama's popularity and the Democratic Party
If the Dems in congress think that running away from HC will be good politics, then they're even more stupid than i thought.

8. These things happen from time to time...For example:
Hawaii is as blue in presidential elections as the ocean that surrounds it, yet the current governor is a Republican...California is deep blue, yet Schwartzenegger (R) is the governor...CT. also has a Republican governor, yet it is reliably blue..

Montana is red as can be, yet they have 2 Democratic senators and a Democratic governor...Deep red Kentucky & Oklahoma (in presidential elections) have Democratic governors...

10. Another interesting statistic
http://www.gallup.com/poll/125423/Americans-Postgraduate-Education-Back-Obama.aspx

Americans with postgraduate education give Obama the highest approval.

11. Ugh Colorado Drifting into Red Territory
again!

The only thing that will save us in 2010 possibly is the gov race and the medical marijuana debate. If the GOP guy threatens to make it even harder to obtain MM, then the kids will come out in droves.
