The hyperbole is pretty wild. Kit Bond was just on MSNBC spreading his "DISASTER" meme with the help of Andrea Mitchell.

Good thing Holder rolled out the decision on a Friday. People have other things to pay attention to over the weekend.

4. The Repukes have a lot of work to do since we evidently aren't scared enough
The administration must feel that the majority are ready to survive a trial.

I think the trials and probable convictions will bring some real soul calming closure for Americans - which is dangerous for conservatives.

9. Makes me ask what they're afraid will come out during the trials
Or is this just another case of, "Whatever it is, I'm against it!"?

Maybe they'll be distracted with this long enough for the senate to pass health care reform with a strong public option minus the stupid stupak admendment.

that we've tried 195 terrorist in civilian courts since 911. Didn't hear a chirp over the years.

13. I dont understand what their fear is......
..... are they afraid of violence DIRECTLY from these prisoners or are they worried about violent acts done by those who support the prisoners?

14. I believe they fear that the prosecutors will succeed
Even Mayor Bloomberg says NYC is ready for this. So it's all manufactured fear and outrage, imo.

15. I'm watching this goober on Tweety's show.....
.... saying we're disgracing the memories of those lost on 9/11 by bringing these prisoners back to NY.

Did he think we were disgracing the memories of those killed by the DC sniper when we brought him back to VA to execute him?

Not likely.

from the inside-out. Don't consider that the 2010 elections are "a given" for our democratic representatives. 2012? I have to admit, if I had to vote all over again, I'd select HRC. Even though she's presently "a war hawk" for increased troops in Afghanistan, I KNOW she'd either get the job done or PROMPTLY pull our troops out. This damn "pragmatism" of Obama is driving me away from voting for him. I'm disgusted in his LACK of leadership. He's screwing up ... and the signs are everywhere if ONLY Rahm would allow him out of his bubble. :(

22. You're becoming a parody of yourself.
What, exactly, does this have to do with trying suspected terrorists in NYC?

And you know exactly what HRC would have done as CIC? Really?

And do you think Rahm wouldn't have been part of a Clinton team? REALLY?

Every post you make is a an Obama bash...we get it, you hate him.

'Lack of leadership' is a right-wing talking point, but I am sure you already knew that.

the GOP will bitch about American taxpayer money being used to fund the electricity.
