Why do I get the feeling Peter Orszag is a lot more competent than Geithner?

Why do I get the feeling Peter Orszag is a lot more competent than Geithner?
The guy really had good moments today. He really has a good grasp of this budget stuff and he seems to care about democratic policies unlike Timmy who seems to just care about getting a go?od job on Wall Street when he's done.

1. Peter Orzag is a budget/policy guy; Geithner is an economics/finance guy
Those are really different areas, and not interchangeable. Although certainly the budget and policy people have an impact on the economics people and vice versa. In the end, it's the policy that links them.

I have a feeling if Peter Orzag were in Tim Geithner's shoes, we'd all be ragging on him, too.
