John McCain: Sarah Palin attacks 'vicious' - "I’ve never seen anything like it"
Edited on Wed Nov-25-09 11:23 AM by denem
Really? Have a quick word with the Mr. Rove. You might start with the year 2000 primaries. Better still, ask Hillary.

John McCain: Sarah Palin attacks 'vicious'

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said Tuesday night that the attacks on Sarah Palin, his former vice presidential running mate, are unlike anything he has ever seen.

“I’m entertained and sometimes a little angry when I see this constant, vicious attacks by people on the left,” McCain said of Palin during an interview with Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren.

“’I’ve never seen anything like it in all the years that I’ve been in politics,” McCain continued, “the viciousness and the personalization of the attacks on Sarah Palin.”

McCain did not mention that some of the harshest attacks against the former Alaska governor have come from former members of his own presidential campaign – who he has defended to some extent – but did said that he is “very proud” of Palin.

1. He's a delusional old man. Out of all the things I am thankful for
this year, a major one is that his Presidential bid failed. Now if we could just kick the dysfunctional Palin family out of the news, that would be perfect.

of the attacks on him in 2000, and man oh man, proof that we dodged a big ol bull & bull-ette with those two not getting into office!

Total dumbasses the both of em.

3. McCain is just a dumbass if he can't see why people are attacking Palin.
If he were smart he'd be attacking her too.

6. Mccain sounds like old Bush calling out Olbermann & Maddow as "sick puppies"
Edited on Wed Nov-25-09 11:19 AM by Kolesar
I like your comment, though, so I kicked it

The great cartoon from the election was Mccain standing next to Palin and telling the reporter "no, she is not my nurse!"

And if she didn't always 'react to the reaction', everything wouldn't be a soap opera with her.

13. Can he read. Or does he need a cataract operation?
Any body that does not HEAR or SEE the vicious attacks on President Obama is not only blind they are deaf also...no where, absolutely no where in the world have so called Christian citizens of that country attacked a legally elected leader the way all the different republican parties have attacked Obama, and the democrats. I think I'll start a scrapbook and cut out the articles and send them to him.

Hey Johnny - that's exactly what your campaign was all about! Race-baiting, calling Obama a terrorist, etc.

16. The crazy old coot has lost finally his mind.
Does he even realize that his campaign team seens to disagree with him, based on newly released messages and interviews, and they are the only ones who are attacking her now in order to defend themselves against her lies?

I hate to state the obvious, but John McCain is a lunatic.

If Sarah were not so fucking vicious herself behind that beaming smile, people who don't like her politics would probably not have been so offended by her.

When sarah isn't whining about being treated unfairly she's being a nasty, vindictive shrew.

For once I thought he was being honest. Whatever was I thinking?

27. wow.... just a little substitution here
Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said Tuesday night that the attacks on Barrack Obama, his former presidential opponent, are unlike anything he has ever seen.

“I’m entertained and sometimes a little angry when I see this constant, vicious attacks by people on the right,” McCain said of Obama during an interview with Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren.

“’I’ve never seen anything like it in all the years that I’ve been in politics,” McCain continued, “the viciousness and the personalization of the attacks on Barack Obama.”

McCain did not mention that some of the harshest attacks against the former Illinois Senator have come from former members of his own presidential running mate – who he has defended to some extent – but did said that he is “sure he is a good man born in the USA” of Obama.

There....now it feels and reads more like the world I'm seeing.

heard the Republicons or the Jackals of Journalism say anything positive about her after she refused to break up her marriage. And Republicon women were the worst.

30. Vicious?
She goes out says provocative things that are far more vicious about Democrats, does strange things - like the intentionally beauty queen like cover of Runner's World with the flag used as a prop or doing an interview in front of turkeys being decapitated - then she and others whine that the left is viciously attacking her. In fact, not a single official Democrat has attacked her for that cover, her winking, her comment that she didn't have to answer the debate questions. She said Obama "palls around with Terrorists."

Her most common defensive move was to play the innocent victim.

On her family, there were threads here that shouldn't have been, but the fact is the McCain committee threw the pregnancy story out defiantly daring Democrats to say something - and when there was little reaction, they attacked the left for what they really hadn't done.

What about them Senator? Are you just going to let Governor Know-Nothing Quitter damage and smear the hard working people who did so much to try to help you get elected? Who stood by your side when the chips were down? What about them......and your much ballyhooed honor, sir.

36. John McCain has lost his POW fame status....long time gone!
Newcomer to Arizona, he only obtained public office with the help of Cindy's daddy who had influence with the mob and knew how to use John's POW status. No one in Arizona even knew he deserted his injured wife for a younger, wealthier Cindy.

After marrying Cindy, fathering her children, running against Lil Georgie, the brave POW, stood silent as Lil Georgie and co-horts, continually publicly slandered his wife and adopted child????

Was anyone surprised that he allowed others to choose a Sarah Palin for his running mate? Was anyone surprised that he didn't defend the attacks against Sen. John Kerry....fellow VietNam Vet?

As an Arizonan, I apologize for the two Senators who shouldn't have been elected as dog catchers, never mind Senator's.......John McCain and Jon Kyl. They are living proof that you don't have to have intelligence, honor or integrity to be elected, only money and and an illiterate, uncaring voter.
