I caught a segment on CNN yesterday, where an auto mechanic, perhaps the owner of the shop, was telling the reporter how you need to listen to your constituents and that your constituents do not want a public option.

But then he added that was not going to vote for you anyway; he was going to vote for a Republican challenger.

So if this is the mood in your state - that McCain carried over Obama with a wide margin - why bother to please constituents that don't like you and your party?

Why not do the right thing and vote with your party and your president and show your constituents that you stand for principles, not for voters sentiments that can change with the wind direction?

1. Just heard her refuse to even consider 'any option that would let the government sell insurance' on

the local radio station. She was all for the idea until late summer when she was bought out by Wellpointe (BCBS).

Isn't it amazing how they all start with what they believe is doing good and then back track when they find a horse's head in their bed?
