Anyone see that hatchet job Chip Reid done on Obama on CBS tonight?

My God, it was the most negative, unbalanced piece of work I've seen lately. I dare say that it was probably worse than something that would be reported on Fox. He just basically went down the list of how everything is going badly for the president with no hope in sight. Also, he mentioned about how "panicked" the White House was about the poll numbers. What a load of BS! This guy is a major tool indeed. He didn't even try to be balanced. Sure, the president has challenges, but the gloom and doom in his report was totally unnecessary.

CBS gives him a paycheck but Dick gives him his hard-on.

NOTHING was going OK. Two (illegal and unnecessary) wars.

A deficit that doubled under Bush.

Eight years of Bush tax cuts added $2.5 trillion to the deficit alone.

Eight years of no regulation, no oversight, and corruption allowed the financial industry to nearly collapse.

Obama got two bags from Bush when he took office. The steaming shit and the other full of angry rattle snakes (tea baggers).

What the hell are ya gonna do with that? :shrug:

I'm not thrilled with Obama, but the guy was in the hole the day he took office. It's going to take some time to crawl out and fill in the hole. (Hopefully with Bush and Cheney IN THE HOLE!)

Because if you look objectively, Obama has two major problems now - Unemployment and Afghanistan. Other than that, he prevented a true economic catastrophe, he's quietly leaving Iraq and is very close to health care reform.

blah blah etc...". Gibbs said "Like...?" and Reid said "Lots of countries but I can't think of one right now". Gibbs said "Can you get back to me on that?" and Reid said "I asked the question" and it went back and forth for quite a while. Gibbs finally dismissed him rather than answer the question.
