House Dems. should introduce a resolution to condemn the "President or Jihad" billboard
Edited on Mon Nov-23-09 03:32 PM by jenmito
Just like the Repubs. introduced a resolution to condemn the "General Betray Us" ad by MoveOn.org. We should get them ALL on the record so everyone, including the birthers and teabaggers, can see where they stand. How could they just let this go?:

and this one, too:

7. I disagree. It exposes the congressmen for either admitting they're crazy or not. It's
a lose-lose for them. If they vote to condemn the billboards, they lose the birthers/teabaggers. If they vote NOT to condemn them, they lose the "mainstream" Repubs.

18. I'd rather see them using the time to govern.
They are not doing enough of that.

6. Freedom of speech, I guess? But that shouldn't stop Dems. in Congress for
getting everyone in Congress on the record to how they feel about it-just like the Repubs. did with the "Betray Us" ad.

8. I don't know if Congress should waste any time on this racist idiot
Now the Colorado state legislature, on the other hand, that's another story.

And if the IRS wanted to audit the fucker's tax records (have you ever met an honest used car dealer?) I wouldn't object to that either

12. The first sign doesn't even make sense!
President or Jihad? Jihad is a thing, not a person, as Sam Stein pointed out on TV today. It should be Jihadist, but far be it of me to correct sloppy signwriting, especially in light of this

They should call themselves the Typo party, not the Tea party.

and it was obvious that the guy didn't even know what "Jihad" MEANT! But, hey-he's just asking questions. Like Glenn Beck. :eyes:

I LOVE those misspelled signs. It adds to the ignorance of the people holding them.

14. Where were they when bush had runaway military
spending and giving giant tax cuts to the top 1 or 2%? Who, incidently, were his top campaign donors.

Now they get out in the street looking like dumbells.
