Dumbass Watch: Kay Bailey Hutchison Edition

On Meet the Press Senator Hutchison disgorged the usual lies about how the Senate bill would end life on Earth, etc., and predicted that it would not pass the Senate.

David Gregory asked whether she was saying yesterday's successful Motion to Proceed vote was a Pyrrhic victory for the Dems.

She said she hopes not because it's such a bad bill.

Apparently Kay Baily Hutchison thinks "Pyhrric" means "awesome" or "decisive" or "meaningful"

Yet she is the class of the Texas Republican Party.

....by sending her a scathing email. I told her how embarassing it was to have your state senator be so damned ignorant and be willing to lie through her teeth just to be partisan. I lambasted her on a few other things too, and told her it was time to hang it up. I was sorry to see her getting senile.
