1. It might need 60 to end debate, then 50 votes after to pass (Biden breaks tie).
Not sure though.

3. If it were a Republican bill
I think it would only need 51 votes, maybe less since they are the "party of GOD". :sarcasm:

4. 60 votes needed to end debate and move to the vote.
And Nelson and Lieberman have said they will not vote for a bill with a PO.

Not that we really have one in either of the bills, but even that measly remnant is too much for these so-called public servants.

5. No, we need 60 to stop debate and have a final vote which would only need 50 + Biden

6. Public Option In Name Only
and that piece of crap may yet be scrapped to appease Lieberman and the two tarts.

One thing that will remain are the mandates, and the taxing of hard-won union health benefits as "Cadillac" plans. The working class will punish you for the mandates and the "Cadillac Tax" at the polls.

10. If these crop of Democrats had their hand at Medicare, it would have been privatized
It is your crap of corporatists that have turned the Democratic Party into an arm of Wall Street.

11. Bullshit. The PO will be administered by HHS who'll be negotiating rates and will offer choice.

As for the working class, they'll cheer the fact that they don't have to worry about pre-existing conditions or being dumped by
insurance companies anymore (unless they commit fraud).
