Source: Vicki Kennedy to endorse Coakley in Senate race
The widow of Sen. Edward Kennedy is endorsing fellow Democrat Martha Coakley in the election to succeed her late husband.

A Massachusetts Democrat briefed on the event says Vicki Kennedy will declare her backing for Coakley on Thursday at a senior citizens center in Coakley’s hometown of Medford.

The Democrat, who demanded anonymity to speak before a schedule was released, says former Rep. Joseph Kennedy and Kennedy’s interim replacement, Sen. Paul Kirk, also will attend.

1. As Wbz was saying this morning "as Coakley is in a neck to neck race with Brown". LOL.
I had to laugh at this one. WBZ (CBS) never ceases to amaze me. Surprised because the Kenned endorse Coakley. Really?

3. Amazing that they call a 9 point lead in one poll "neck and neck"
but they are still calling the Tsongus win "close".

4. Cook Report downgraded the race to "Leans Democrat". They need to hyperventilate.

6. Maybe that will help with the Democratic get out the vote
You would think that just saying that a vote for Brown is a vote for McConnell as Majority Leader would work if people had any idea how obnoxious he was.

5. They did it through the final months of 2008.
If you remember, Obama opened up a double digit lead by mid-October in 2008 and the media still refused to suggest there was a potential for a sizable Obama win.

Instead, the media kept saying, "closest race in history..." "neck and neck..." "up for grabs...".

It never was, though.
