1. And we shouldn't support her when she runs for reelection
I rather have an honest fascist than a phony Democrat.

2. Sounds like she needs to have a few fingers broken.
Metaphorically speaking, of course.

12. Yeah, I was hoping that maybe he'd come out swinging but I guess
he and the WH don't really care what gets cut out of the bill as long as they (and the insurance industry) "win."

13. Rahm's brother Zeke is one of the leading shills for privatizing Medicare
and as was indicated in a thread here earlier this week, that seems to be the official position of the DLC now as well.

Fucking worthless traitors.

3. Where can we contribute to a primary challenger?
If she votes against cloture, I'll send some bucks to (almost) anyone who runs against her.

8. She said she did not want to create another
govt run institution that has to be bailed out if it gets into trouble.

When were AIG, the banks and the auto industry, govt run institutions?

9. Democrats should have fought for single payer, Medicare for All
HR676.

This is what happens when we let the Vichy Democrats run the show.

16. Idiocy. We can barely get enough votes for a half ass public option.
Yelling about single payer is stupidity. And it has nothing to do with Obama or Reid, these conservative democrats aren't going to support it, period. There is no amount of bitching about it that will change that reality.

17. We should fight for our core values, else we go the way of Germany's liberal democrats
and we all know what followed the Weimar Republic.

20. No normal person would have taken what you said any differently.
And your snotty, more liberal than thou bullshit adds no substantive weight to your argument.

11. I say wait until the debates & all proposed amendments are over.
I still think the objecting Dems are posturing. They want something, either for themselves or their State. It worked for Landreau and they're sure going to try to get their piece too.

I was listening to Rachel last night. One of her guests was the guy from 538. He said something I really agree with. ONE Dem like Lincoln isn't going to be the only one to deep six HC. He admitted that she has a tough election in a red State,, but if she were to sink HC she would lose all her backing, both support & money, and literally be ignored in her caucus.

Bozo Joe on the other hand is another story. I know he wants to be the power star and know HC hinges on him alone. The problem I see is that he's still quite popular with the Pubs in Ct. and I'm not sure threatening to take away his chairmanship is enough.

14. Listen, none of those fuckers in the Senate care about the working class
except for a handful of them, if that many.

If the working class doesn't take to the streets and demand universal health care, we will continue to get the perennial BOHICA from the political class.

that $$ from the corps, but guess what---corps don't vote!
