Birther-freeptard Lie #4,562: Obama doesn't want women to have pap smears

A friend of mine was talking with her aunt and was told that Obama "now wants to take away pap smears for women". Her aunt watches Fox NotNews and listens to drug-addled gasbag Rush Limpole on a daily basis. So my friend asked me what the hell that was about... I was stumped.

So I looked and wow, this is just the latest in an absolutely satanic attempt at trying to demonize Obama for something he has absolutely nothing to do with. It's that simple. These mother fuckers are hellbent on lying through their teeth at every moment to try to give people the wrong impression or to put fear in their heads.

The guidelines from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists or ACOG now say women younger than 30 should undergo cervical cancer screening once every two years instead of an annual exam. And those age 30 and older can be screened once every three years.

The recommendations are based on scientific evidence that suggests more frequent testing leads to overtreatment, which can harm a young woman's chances of carrying a child full term.

"Overtreatment of minor abnormal pap tests in young women and adolescents can lead to consequences such as preterm labor in some cases. It increases the risk," said Dr. Thomas Herzog of Columbia University in New York, who is chairman of an ACOG subcommittee on gynecologic cancers.

So I Googled to see if Rush Limpole was wankering on the topic and he was on 11/20/09. However, in order to see his claptrap, you have to be a member. No thanks.
