Santiago, Chile, Nov 7 (Prensa Latina) The popularity of the Chilean government of President Sebastian Piñera continues to receive an unprecedented minimum support, according to a survey carried out in October.

The survey, carried out by the business firm Adimark and published Monday confirms that the administration is approved by only 28 percent of citizens and the president is favored by 31 percent.
The plummeting popular acceptance of the ruling right-wing government has been reflected in repeated opinion polls. Other specialized institutions like the Center for Studies on Contemporary Reality (CERC) have revealed even more scathing numbers. CERC's latest report, released in late September, confirmed that 22 percent of people approve the head of State and nearly 70 percent reject his performance.
The consultancy Adimark on Monday showed a majority public support for the demands from the student movement, endorsed by 67 percent of respondents.
