2. This isn't very important but just who IS supposedly running Honduras
during the time Pinochetti "steps down".

The cover story doesn't even make sense.

3. gen. Romeo Vasquez Velasquez will be running the country . . .
Kinda send shivers down the spine, huh. All the politicos are getting out of the way so they won't be tied to election fraud nor "over zealous" members of the Honduran armed forces. This is all for the international community consumption. With all the politicos out of town, I guess the only one left is the General.

7. You are right, Downwinder. What I meant to say and didn't is that Romeo
will not be named as acting prez, but will be in charge. The person named the acting prez will have little or no power.I think there might be a few other scenarios but can't put it together.
