Bolivian mission to US
Bolivian mission to US

Bolivia: A high-level delegation from the Bolivian government will travel to the United States to resume the talks with US authorities to establish a new framework agreement on relations, local media reported.According to Deputy Foreign Minister Hugo Fernandez, quoted by the newspaper Cambio, the meeting is scheduled for June 29-30.

The official did not elaborate on who will take part in the second talks between the two countries, aimed at reaching an agreement to resume diplomatic relations. The first meeting was held in May, when a delegation from the US government, headed by the joint secretary of State for Latin America, Thomas Shannon, traveled to La Paz.

Bilateral relations were severed in September 2008, when Bolivian President Evo Morales expelled US Ambassador Phillip Goldberg, on charges of conspiracy.

1. Good luck to them. Maybe they can talk about the terrorists
