PRENSA LATINA: US Plot in Nicaragua Exposed
Edited on Wed May-13-09 12:57 PM by magbana
"Managua, May 13 (Prensa Latina) The US has added to its history of interventions by colluding with separatist groups on Nicaragua''s Caribbean coast. Miskito Chief Steadman Fagoth denounced that known political groups opposed to the Sandinista government conspire with the US Department of State to work toward separatism.

Steadman Fagoth, executive president of Nicaragua's Fishing Institute, went to Bilwi in Puerto Cabezas and saw US Department of State officials and Ambassador Robert Callahan devising a destabilization plot.

The US officials were holding talks in Puerto Cabezas with leaders of the Liberal Constitutionalist (PLC) and Alianza Liberal Nicaraguense (ALN) parties on the day a separatist release was circulated.
