Spain Grants Aid to Nicaragua
Managua, Jan 27 (Prensa Latina) Spain will grant Nicaragua 48 million dollars for the government of Managua to implement social development projects, according to official sources.

Spanish Ambassador to Nicaragua Antonio Perez Hernandez and Sandinista Mayor Alexis Arguello announced the aid during a meeting held on Monday.

According to Arguello, it is a commitment to poor people in La Chureca garbage dump, who will benefit from a housing project and the elimination of the crematorium.

In that regard, Elena Montovio, who is in charge of Spanish aid in Nicaragua, noted that the Spanish government and people have made a commitment to the Nicaraguan people.
