I turned on C-Span 2 exactly as Joe Biden was signing the oath of office :)

Usually, I'm not so lucky.

Now my day is complete.

Just wanted to share :)

On edit - he brought his own bible. It was huge - gold cover.
Must have some special meaning to him.

Unfortunately, the rest of the day has been hectic - ya know - teenage daughter home from college.
Drama all day :) I miss her so much when she is gone, yet when she's home . . .
Did you find that with your kids, that after they left for a while, when they came home they were more demanding? I don't know if it's just because we are out of sync or what.... but I'm surprised I don't have a blister on my lip from biting it so much.

My daughter came and went so many times, I can't remember anymore. I do know the drama in her early twenties was exhausting and as much as I often missed her, I needed the break. Eventually something shifted after he last out-of-state move (to CA) and being separated became very painful.

My son was completely different. He stayed home until his mid-twenties and once he moved out on his own, he became much more appreciative of his Mom.

Fortunately I am at the phase where I thoroughly enjoy both of them, though not always together!
