Went to Joe's Rally in Suffolk, VA today!
I was fortunate enough to go to the rally. It was about a 3 hour drive and well worth it! Joe gave a great speech with an emphasis on building up the middle class. I was thoroughly impressed with what he had to say. My wife, who also likes Joe from listening to me blab about him for the past 2 years was moved by his speech as well.

He talked about home foreclosures in VA and the US as a whole and how Obama/Biden want to put a 3 month moratorium on foreclosures to allow time for the programs from the bailout to be put into place. It makes a lot of sense and creates a sharp contrast from McCain's Rovian attack machine.

All in all it was a great day. He looked good and was on his game.

3. Oh, I'm so jealous
but so happy for you. Thanks for sharing and the great pic's.

So you've been blabbing about Joe for two years? You are very perceptive! Isn't it great being so friggin' right?

Joe looks great. Is that you in the last photo?

4. I first saw Joe on Bill Maher
talking about Iraq and creating a confederation. It made so much sense to me at the time and I thought, this guy needs to run for President. I've been a Joe Biden fan since that day. Unfortunately, I didn't find DU until the week after he dropped out of the race. I don't post too often but I do check in to read quite a bit.

It is great to be right and to see Joe on the ticket. Yes, that is me with my wife and Joe in the last picture. She was a little grumpy getting up that early and thinking that she'd have to wait around for a couple of hours, but she ended up having a great time and we met some great people to talk to while we were in line.

5. My first encounter with Joe was on Meet the Press
during the 2004 presidential campaign. By that time I was so sick of political talking points from both sides and then I heard Joe speak. My first reaction was WTF, why isn't HE running for president??? He is that rare politician that I connected with instantly. As time passed I found that other family members responded the same way (without any preparation or prompting from me).

I'm glad you found DU, though you missed a lot of excitement amongst the Biden supporters last year. I found DU over four years ago but didn't get involved until Biden starting running for president. It was here that I found kindred souls and the rest is history.

Loved your picture. I'm so glad your wife had a great time. Oh my god, you guys have a photo with Joe! The next VP of the United States! Are you going to frame it?

7. Mudrunner- I too saw Joe on Bill Maher that very same night and turned to
my husband and said "This man needs to be our next President". That night and his appearance on Bill's show changed my life and created this intense political drive in me I've never had before. Joe Biden, that night, made me feel something so intense and powerful I cannot describe it. His beliefs and ideals hit home with me and my family. He is an amazing man. I supported his run for President only to be devastated so early in the race. Obama picking Biden is a 2nd chance for all of us!

8. Seeing all of your pictures from the times you went is one of the things
that made me really want to go. Thanks for sharing all of your pics from seeing him too.

I was really lucky because there were only about 1000 people there, so it was pretty easy to get a spot right up front. It was gratifying to shake the man's hand.

14. Your so lucky!
He was in Greely, CO, last Tuesday, but I HAD to be at a stupid staff meeting. Should have skipped out and called in sick and gone to see him, the drive is about 1.5 hours. Oh well, that was just a terrible, no good, very bad day all around.

OT - I didn't know Joe's security detail included the Vladamir Putin look-a-like (last pic, on the right).
