1. I honestly believe that if we start another war, this election is lost.

American's will not vote for a dem if our WOT is escalated. The meme that dems are weak on terror is as strong & ingrained as the 'liberal media' meme.

On the one hand I've thought that Cheney would walk away, since the treasury is almost completely looted. OTOH, he didn't work to amass so much power in the executive to hand it over to a dem. Scary times, very scary!
