Biden gets another endorsement from Iowa!
From his website:

Iowa House Assistant Majority Leader John Whitaker of Hillsboro will announce his endorsement today in support of Democratic presidential candidate Senator Joe Biden.

A farmer by profession, Rep. Whitaker is the Vice Chair of the Agriculture Committee, and serves on the Committees for Natural Resources, Public Safety, Administration and Rules, and Transportation. He was elected in 2002 and represents District 90, including Van Buren, Jefferson and Wapello counties.

There will be a formal announcement today!

:applause:

All these endorsements are going to pay off!

1. Good! I like hearing that.
In a poll taken in my state last May, it showed a majority of North Carolinians wanted to vote for a Democrat for President in '08. At he same time, the poll showed that a majority of North Carolinians were NOT inclined to vote for any of our so-called "top tier" Democrats.

Well, I'm hoping that Joe Biden gets some traction and puts my state in contention. :)

2. Hi North Carolina!
Welcome to our group :)

I too am hoping Biden gets traction.
Seems like the media is too excited about having the first woman and
the first African-American fighting to the top.
Makes for good tv - not good Presidents!

5. I don't think North Carolina is alone either
There are a lot of undecideds out there and the republican lineup looks pretty unappealing. I think the media is underestimating voters this time. They are really serious and are weighing their options carefully.

Welcome!!!
