I have a couple of old Mantle Clocks
I have absolutely no idea of how to price these. Anyone have any experience with this?

4. do a search on the manufactor's name under completed auctions
on eBay and see if there is a market there for them

the 'completed auction' search has helped me so often to decide if eBay is the place to sell different items

3. Have you googled around to learn more about them?
When I don't know what price to start with to sell an item on eBay, I google around to learn more. Especially with clocks, there are many sites for collectors of different types of clocks.

Looking on eBay for your particular item in both ongoing and completed auctions can help determine what price to set and/or the possilbly how well it may sell.

I also do some searching for clock museums, or, using the name of the clock manufacturer, try to earn more about the history of that company (example keywords: seth thomas history), and often learn more about the particular clock I'm intending to auction.
Sometimes by learning. Having more info can help in selling an item.

Also, if the item is a collectible and/or antique, I also check out a few online sites:
