1. I wish there were high-speed rail between Detroit and Chicago....
There's a pathetic 3 Amtrak trains a day on the route, and they're always delayed because Amtrak doesn't own the rails and has to wait for freight trains to pass.
By contrast, there are more than 40 flights (in each direction) making the half-hour (235 air miles) flight each day, and driving I-94 in Detroit and Chicago traffic would prompt Gandhi to start firing an automatic weapon.
