Time travel in ancient myths
A year and a day ago (it turns out) I posted this thread in the Lounge:

This seems like an appropriate place to revive the topic, which sparked a really interesting discussion. The question is simple: does time travel occur in the myths of any pre-modern people? Or is it a thoroughly modern plot device not found in ancient myths?
