Well, it finally dried out around here, after yesterday's disheartening snow. I decided I'd run down after work and get some gas, so I could ride to work tomorrow. :evilgrin:

Here it is three hours later, and I'm hooooome! Could be said I took the long way back. :rofl:

MAN I love riding. :toast:

Anyone else tend to go well out of your way for nothing more than the joy?

Sometimes I just go out and ride with no particular destination in mind, exploring the backroads. It's amazing what you can find out there in places you'd never bother to take a car.

The hubby and I started to take a quick round trip -

about 90 miles one way - from Fairbanks to Delta. We wound up in Valdez. 364 miles one way. Go figure :toast::evilgrin::toast:

As usual, started out small, ended big:



C'mon up and ride with us, Robb!! The weather's perfect, and won't get nasty till mid-August (rain)! We'll supply the camping gear and/or motor home and trailer - you bring your bike and an attitude!
