I did these for all the Moms at our family gathering last Sunday! They also make great paper weights!

1. They're so cute!
The fabric is a very nice choice. Did you use two different fabrics to get the polka dots or was it part of the floral? Looks like it was all one but you got the tails just all polka dotty.

Which pattern did you use? Was it one of the free ones on the web?

Also, I love the paper flowers. They look like my favorite and very fragrant lilies with the dotted petals.

I used two different fabrics...one floral and one black and white polka dotted. I'll "edit" in the link to a pattern...I didn't use one...just looked at the picture and used 3 1/2 inch squares for the body/head, made up the tail pattern and lightly stuffed it and edged stitched it. (One of the 3 1/2 inch squares was the polka dot.) Actually the paper flowers are wrapped chickens! I forgot to take the picture before I started wrapping so I put them in for background. I also used 3 inch squares of muslin to line them since I filled them with sand.

This chicken pictured in the pattern is made from 5 1/2 squares...

4. Thank you. By the time I got done with them
I didn't know if they looked good or not. Everyone seemed genuinely pleased though and I could have told if it hadn't been genuine!

5. LOVE the flowers! Did you make those too? If so, how can I get the
pattern or directions to make them?
