My granddaughter has been in the hospital since Saturday
and has been very ill.
So I am stuck in the hospital with a sick baby who only wanted to sleep...and on the TV there are 4 Fox Channels, 2 CNN channels, but MSNBC was nowhere to be found.
I didn't want to miss Al on Keith tonight so I was very grateful that her Doctor gave us the option of coming home this afternoon instead of waiting until tomorrow.
On a side night, she is a HUGE Wizard of Oz fan so when the Doc asked if she wanted to go home, she put her best dramatic face on and said "There's no place like home"...we both rolled with laughter.

1. She's home so she must be feeling better, I hope. No fun to see
a baby sick. I hope her healing is speedy, and there IS no place like home for that!

8. Very good.
Her fevers were over 105 but she hasn't had a fever in almost 24 hours. We weren't able to keep it under control without giving something every 2-3 hours and when the vomiting started, the hospital was the only option. Her blood work is almost WNL.
Now it is just trying to get her to eat and get her perked up.

12. I'm so glad she's coming home.
Home is far better. I never can sleep in the hospital--and my son, even when he was that dehydrated that he needed to stay overnight, didn't sleep all that well, either. The sleep will really help.
