2. I would think that we have many qualified people here at DU
Thousands, even. And it sounds like a dream job. But San Francisco is one of the most expensive places to live on earth. And it sounds like you have to live there, right?

3. I Just Mentioned Mods Because It Was Under "Preferred Experience" !!!
But you are correct, there are many qualified people here at DU.

You are also correct, that it is expensive as hell to live in S.F.

But one could commute, and we do have many a Bay Area DUer, and it does not say whether or not you can tele-commute to this job. You'd think that they would allow that, at least part of the time, because that would be a Green solution, and earn ya some Carbon credits right there, LOL!

A phone call about that and salary, might just clear that up.

4. Exactly
I hope someone from DU gets the job, so lets keep this kicked. Unfortunately, I'm probably the least tech-savvy person here, so I won't go for it myself. Still, I can take pride in the accomplishments of my fellow DUers.

15. Thank You Lisa !!! - I Sometimes Wonder How We Could Organize A DU Job Fair...
I haven't looked around in too much depth, but I've seen jobs for progressives at Media Matters, TPMMuckraker, and now Current TV!

I'm sure that if we went digging, we'd find many more.

And although many here have jobs they love, or at the very least, would not wanna give up...

What a great Job Fair it would be if we could amass a whole bunch of jobs that allowed those looking for a change (let alone employment) into an arena that fits them naturally.

In anywho, It would be a wonderful thing if every 3 months or so, every DUer would scan both locally and nationally for progressive jobs that might just do us all a world of good.

Or am I dreaming right now?
