Boehner: "I Reject Compromise"
“And while expressing an interest in "common ground," Boehner refused to entertain the idea of compromise. "I reject the word," he said. Elsewhere in the interview, Boehner added, "I made it clear I am not gonna compromise on my principles, nor am I gonna compromise the will of the American people."

12. Playing to the Teabaggers in the peanut gallery.
If he thinks that the House won't pass any legislation with compromises in it, from both sides, he really is drunk.

Otherwise, it will just go to the Senate to die, and nothing will get done.

Teabaggers scream "No Compromises!!", and scare the Republicans in the House and Senate...but still, they compromise.

3. What do you mean "us" - there is no us. There is only them with money & power.
The WH and 90% of Congress is in the enemy camp - that much has been clear for quite a while now.

9. There is not.
He's even worse than Gingrich. Compromise is not in his nature.

You'd might as well just shut off C-SPAN for the next 2 years, because it'll be nothing but the most trivial shit.

24. Not to be snarky, but what part of NO! .........
don't you understand? I would rather see NOTHING done, than a "compromise" with people whose idea of compromise is when the other side capitulates.

20. No, actually, it wasn't. I wrote "misguided" for a reason. My point is: It is good to know where a
man stands, for good or ill. Reagan, for example. HOW COULD ANYONE CLAIM THEY WERE FOOLED BY HIS POLICIES, POST-ELECTION?

Contrast with the obvious.

15. Of course he won't compromise, why should he?
When he has an "opposition" who is willing to surrender unconditionally before negotiations have even started.

16. The will of the American people is not to give tax breaks to millionaires
Sorry Boner, you are not being honest. YOUR will is to give tax breaks to millionaires because they will turn around and give it to repig politicians.

17. What total BS!
He would, has and will continue to "compromise" the will of the American people. He does so with every vote. He and his party have done more harm to this nation than any bomb ever could. He has no integrity IMO. He sold it the moment he chose profit over equality. Did you catch the line about how he "became" a Republican when taxes took too much of "his" money? What a complete blow hard and cry baby. Being sincere while being sincerely wrong is nothing to be proud of. DO NOT tell me you care about the American people and then vote to leave so many in dire straits!
