The AUDACITY Of Hope, Not The COMPROMISE Of Hope
I thought the whole point of hope and change was to have the audacity to stand for something, the audacity to stand on some principles, and the audacity to lead.

guess the audacious have moved along to compromise hope.

3. I guess it is old fashioned to believe what pols say
during campaigns.

Pres. Obama spoke out fervently against the Bush tax cuts as a candidate. Fervently. Many times. There is no amount of spin that will convince me that we need to add to the national debt to give the wealthiest a tax break.

What hurts almost worse is the Obama-GOP agreement to stop collecting Social Security. Coupled with Obama's cat food commission, it's pretty clear that the Obama-GOP alliance intends to destroy SS. Just think the damage they can do over the next two years.

5. Change the old saying to "You can hope in one hand and shit in the other"
Guess which one gets filled quicker.

Thanks for the disillusionment, we need to learn that the government sucks and we are on our own. Thanks for reminding us

7. The point of the audacity thing was to actually use the word hope.
not to actually employ it.

8. It's not audacity per se, it's the lack of conscience and values
Obama is very audacious and conscientious in doing the GOP's work to destroy the middle class, the poor, the elderly, and the disabled.

9. They boiled all the hope out of him
and it didn't take that long to do. It makes me mad when I look at his campaign videos.
