It isn't the person, it is the system!

Carter, Clinton, now Obama. We can sit around an bitch up a storm about the person and put false hope in person X to make the changes, (won't happen) or come to an understanding that the system is rigged against change.

2. those with the power dont want to (and are never going to) give it up to a Populist
they are rich, we are poor, that is the balance that will be maintained shy of a Bastille Day here and the lopping off of several CEO heads.

3. Obama = middle of the road = roadhog.
Obama needs to move out of the way so that we can, as a nation, make some progress. He has never been able to communicate the Democratic message to Americans. We need someone who can communicate that message. Kerry was even worse.

Hillary Clinton does not believe in or represent that message.

And the message is equal opportunity for all, equal justice under the law for all, a democratic government that represents flesh-and-blood people not corporations and based on those principles a strong nation that enforces and abides by our Constitution and just laws.

If you still think Hillary Clinton would be better than Obama watch her interchange with the ladies of Code Pink. It used to be available on YouTube. Probably still is. It shows Hillary as her true self. I would not vote for her or for Obama.

I'm wondering whether we could draft Dean or Kucinich.

Of course we have to get active in our local Democratic clubs if we want to do that. I'm seriously thinking of starting to go back to meetings. I have been too busy and too disgusted with the Obama administration to get active. Think I will try it again.
