A Follow Up To My Front Page Post
this is a simple follow up to what I had posted about asking the simple question, "if tax cuts and deregulation work so well, why did we end up in a recession surrounded by record breaking deficits?"

I think some people are missing the point, this isn't about anything other than consistent messaging and a simple, easy to follow talking point.

we ARE NOT trying to convert and win right wings who think obama is a kenyan muslim socialist nazi. we will never convert those people, and we must accept that and stop thinking we're going to convince them

we need to convince EVERYONE ELSE that top bracket tax cuts DID NOT AND DO NOT WORK. we are not trying to win over jim demint, we are trying to win over joe sixpack. the people who aren't always involved in politics and sometimes vote. we want them to have that doubt in their mind, that little question that sets off their bullshit meter like, "yeah why didn't it work?"

as the saying goes, some people cannot be set free from the matrix. we are simply trying to give the red pill to the ones who can.

simple, concise messages that get people thinking and put republicans on the defensive is our main goal to sabotage their talking points and debates. republicans specialize in boiling the debate down to stupid talking points, all of them based on bullshit. our focus needs to be, and should be, boiling down our facts to simple and concise one liners that anyone with even a quarter of a brain, no matter how much they are tuned off, will make their lie detector stand up like, "wait...he/she has a point." any good salesmen knows you don't overwhelm your customer with details right off, you want them to get attached to your product and let THEM ask the questions. we are Brand Democracy, and what we're selling is the future of America. do you want Option A, tax cuts that don't work and destroy our infrastructure, or Option B, the things that worked and built this country. we DO need better lines or "sales pitches" if you would and thats what this is. we're not going to make the paid talking heads on tv do anything off message, we want to get the people watching at home, the people we talk to on facebook or work, people who even might be concerned about the future of their retirement. we want them to go, "now hold on there, I never said I wasn't interested, lemme see some information here before I buy." the proof is in the pudding, we have 40 years of growth from the new deal till reagan took over, then 30 years from reagan to bush jr of tax cuts, recessions, and bubble-bust economies. would you rather keep doing what we're doing, or look at what worked and what built the nation we live in?

we are not trying to convert the brainwashed, we are trying to save the rest.

I figure I'd explain the logic behind this. unfortunately, we will never get through to some people, theres a strong 20% of the population I would write off as completely authoritarian. we want everyone else to see things and to have an option. but you gotta be able to SELL people on that and get them interested and thinking before they'll commit to it.

thanks for your time.

You can have all the answers
But if officials do not listen, do not really hear,
how do you turn them to your side??

The answers are out there, not hard to find, and these
elected officials have their own agenda and will not be turned
from that.

edit: fingers have their own agenda
