1. At this point he will be lucky is he is only arrested
especially if hes going after corporations now. They might just decide it will be easier if he's dead.

2. The corps. are more powerful than our gov. Our gov. is
just a subsidiary of corp. America.

4. I'm wondering if this guy just has a death wish / martyrdom thing going.

I mean he's embarrassing more then just the US government. Saudi Arabia pops to mind. Israel would probably take him out, but I don't think they look that bad. They seem to be showing restraint, which is interesting.

Anyway, we'll see what else he puts out there. I wish he was showing more discretion. I also wish he exposed more then just US interests. I also think if he redacted names out better, I'd be more down with him.

6. Yeah it seems like he wants to be famous
rather than just spill secrets and it also seems like he might have an ulterior motive against to US. I know I'm probably going to get bitched at for it, but thats my opinion.

11. He's definitely playing a dangerous game.
At some point TPTB will determine that the threat from any potential blackmail is outweighed by his ongoing and future activities. They may not even try to hide it, as an example. He's a dead man walking.

then you understand why and what he leaks, and why he tends to go for the limelight. And it's not just the American shadow government he's after. And it turns out the nature of the contact doesn't matter. It's just one critical fact about the content. Insurance may well turn out to be content-free -- but it's title is enough to scare the fuck out of his targets and intrigue the rest of us.

For the record, it's not about attention, it's not about ego. He does have a plan, he's made it public and it is very clear. It's also very, very funny the way the governments (not just our government, all of them) are doing *exactly* as he expected. They simply can't help themselves. To me, it's not unlike W leading us down a path of self-destruction by rubbing our noses in fear of bin Laden every 3 seconds. Only now, Assange is the pied piper, leading the shadow-governments down a path of self-destruction by preying on their biggest fears...

I can't wait for him to go after the big bank, or banks, in January. Glad I don't have any of my money in any big bank. If I did, I'd get it out by the end of the year. Same with bank stocks. If I were a gambler, I'd be shorting them by the end of the year. Someone will be taking a hit.
