Zero senate gains I can understand, but only 2 house gains?

1. A lot more media "face time" for Senatorial candidates. House ones don't get the same
scrutiny.

At least that is one theory I have heard,

2. The Citizens United decision.
The election was decided the moment the Roberts-Scalia junta gave corporate power the explicit right to buy the election.

10. Sorry, but I have to disagree...
...all the advertising in the world won't work if it doesn't build on beliefs and prejudices that the consumer already has. The voters were unhappy about the Democrats because 1) we never told them what we accomplished and why it was important, and 2) why we DIDN'T accomplish things they wanted and what we were going to do about them in the future.

I had a chats with Nancy Pelosi and Chris Van Hollen, and their message was that Democratic House candidates "knew the local issues". Maybe they did, but we never had a consistent message on the national issues -- and our opponents did.

4. Black Box Voting?
Of course, they wouldn't do that, would they?
They have the means, the motive and the opportunity, indeed.
But we can be sure they wouldn't steal votes, right?

6. I don't think so

Many close races went to the Democrat. Polls before hand indicated we could lose 40-80 House Seats, and 6-8 Senate seats. It turned out about what the polls said. The only race that raised eyebrows was Sharon Angle's 5 point loss, but she was a Republican.

7. See? There it is.
"I don't think so.

Nope, the system said we were gonna lose and the system always tells the truth, and we can trust
the system, and the system has proven that it is always right. So stfu and trust the vote count."

I've heard it a million times and have never put faith in that.

You have no way of proving that the BBV didn't steal the elections. None.

8. And you have no way of proving Sharon Angle's race wasn't stolen
Are you saying every pollster is in on a conspiracy?

I wouldn't dare trust the pollsters.
Or the BBV.

Do you? You seem to trust both.

13. Well they can't all lie at once
I don't think there was a massive conspiracy. Even tiny independent pollsters said the Democrats would lose a lot of seats. Not saying none were stolen, but overall I think it was about right. How many do you think were stolen?

14. well
Virtually any one of them could have been stolen.

California: The most advanced election protection state in the US.
And pretty much a majority of Dems elected, which is, as it were, the way things in this country SHOULD be, right?

The difference is.... you trust the pollsters and the voting machines and I don't.
