KO names Bristol Palin worst person in the world
Edited on Tue Nov-30-10 11:30 AM by Marvinio
Last night, For promoting abstinence while having an out-of-wedlock son.

"Olbermann ripped Tea Party darling Sarah Palin?a>??s daughter, who had a son out of wedlock during the 2008 presidential election with then boyfriend Levi Johnston, for urging teens to not have sex."

1. That savin' herself for marriage crap was pure fiction.
Good on KO. Much better than the "ain't the Palin critter cute" stuff most of the media does.

2. With the number of single parents today, I think the term 'out of wedlock' is cute.
Oh, and unrec for being a Palin topic.

22. It was merely an "oh by the way", not a complaint. Sort of an add-on

3. That's nuts.
So I can't advise others to avoid mistakes that I've made? An AA member can't warn people about the dangers of drunk driving?

There's plenty to critique about BP (now that she's placed herself in the public eye rather than been dragged there by her mother's VP run), but not this.

Must be a slow day for KO.

6. The difference is AA members stop drinking
I doubt Bristol Palin has taken up abstinence. She's a hypocrite, just like her mother.

21. AA has a 5% success rate. But, yes, they're both hypocrites and too stupid to even be discussing.

20. No, in this case, it's satire.
Hence the "(Not really)", which he had to add in because people weren't getting the point that it's all satire.

8. She made "the list" for that ridiculous "video" she made with that
"Situation" character from "Jersey Shore".

Did I fulfill the daily quota for use of quotation marks?

19. You missed the "(Not really)" part, did you?
It's satire. It's tongue-in-cheek. As it always has been. He's even spelled that out with the addition of the "(Not really)" for those who didn't understand that before, and people still don't get it. Sad.

13. And This Is Targeted To Whom? Honestly...
At "vulnerable" teens? One would think that those teens who know who Bristol is are also aware of how she became a mommy and laugh at it. So whose the audience that would receive the message? Toddlers? Fundies? (one and the same) Comedy Writers??
