Teen "Dine and Dasher" left iphone
My son is a waiter at a small, moderate restaurant in an upscale part of town. Earlier tonight some local youths enjoyed dinner at the establishment, and left without paying, as is the privilege of a certain type of rich kids. This time at least, they left a tip, an iphone. The kid hadn't returned for it by the time my kid left work. It will be fun to see how this story ends.

2. If the screen is unlocked it would be easy to identify the thief.

Also, an owner can remotely track the phone and wipe info if they have set up 'Find my iPhone,' which is available free of charge to most iPhone owners.

3. The dasher is between a rock and a hard place
He knows where the phone is, but retrieval will be awkward, to say the least.

4. This one is easy ...
Bring twice the cost of the meal, along with a a 25% gratuity for the kitchen help, and BEG the store manager to let you have your phone (after you convince them that you thought the bill had been paid ...)

MAYBE then you might get a phone ....

5. Easy solution...
..claim the phone was stolen, report it to police, send someone else to pick it up!

Makes sense since (hmmm never used those two words together) a thief stole the phone, he also stole the meal.
