4. About as successful as Turn Your Back on Bush in 2002
They tried to get people at Ohio State to turn their backs on Bush at his commencement speech. There were 60,000 in the stadium, and at the appointed time...about 5 people turned their back on Bush.

your argument is a limp attempt to feel things through
not having the balls to say what's on your mind.

The orifice of your thoughts need to be examined more.

6. Normally they select 2% of the flyers
I suspect today that was not reached.

that is for starters. And if you think I am crazy about this... well I know how government works.

People going over through the magnetometer is normal.

And they were some protest.

I also suspect we haven't had that many stories on purpose.

9. Travelers are reporting that the scanners aren't being used today at
some airports and people are going through the metal detectors like in the good old days. Looks like TSA may have blinked.

10. Not everyone goes through a scanner at every aiport
(I've been flying a fair amount this past month -- on three trips I went through a scanner once).

These are the facts: people are choosing the scanner when presented with it, most don't care.

The Limbaughs and Fox Newses lose on this one.

11. TSA would have been nuts to have the scanners going today. But what about our safety?
Oh, Wednesdays are safe, terrorists day off.
