NJ lawmakers pass tougher bullying laws
New Jersey lawmakers have passed one of the country's toughest anti-bullying laws.
There were cheers in the aisle from supporters of the state's new anti-bullying bill of rights. Friends of Tyler Clementi, the Rutgers student who committed suicide after his encounter with another man was allegedly streamed online, were among those in attendance.

Both the state Senate and Assembly also agreed to shoot down Gov. Chris Christie's (R-N.J.) rules concerning medical marijuana. State Sen. Nicholas Scutari told News 12 New Jersey that the resolution is bigger than just the medical marijuana regulatory scheme. He says that it will show Christie that he can't overstep his executive authority.

The Assembly also passed a bill providing millions of dollars for women's health programs.
