Catholic Priest Tried to Pay Hitman to Kill Teen He Molested

A Catholic priest stands accused of a) sexually assaulting a teen, including raping the boy at gun point b) threatening to kill him if he told anyone c) threatening to kill himself and the boy so they could go to Heaven together d) actually trying to get him killed -- the priest allegedly offered $5,000 to an undercover agent to murder the boy (guess he didn't feel like going to Heaven yet).

52-year-old Rev. John M. Fiala, an administrator of Sacred Heart of Mary in Rocksprings, Texas, met his victim in 2007. When the boy turned 16 Fiala started abusing him during their "private catechism lessons."

In addition to criminal charges, the boy is also suing Fiala's religious order and two Archdiocese that previously housed the priest. Surprise, surprise, the suit alleges that all three covered up evidence Fiala was an abuser.

4. How is it that they always offer money to an undercover agent?
Doesn't anyone know any real hitmen?

"...I can see now the evil in this guy is pretty bad." (from the linked article)

It's pervasive.

And held without bond....in a deep hole.
