Rep. Marcy Kaptur on Dylan Ratigan's program today - She's understated but gave a clear explanation
Regarding the origins of the current economic crisis...

The banksters took a (home) loan turned it into a bond which became a security with a hyper inflated rating that was sold. Now the American people are picking up the tab when the bankers should be putting chits on the table to help shoulder the losses.

She said that she can't even get a bill passed in Congress to fund more FBI agents to investigate the bank failures just like they did when the Savings & Loans went under years ago. Powerful interests don't want these issues investigated.

She suggested that people watch Moore's "Capitalism A Love Story" and "Inside Job" to help people understand what happened.
