Wendell Potter should know, having been a CIGNA employee, that wealthy insurance corporations that spend millions bidding for federal contracts would not be into Medicare unless there was a profit. This is the very argument for Medicare for all. Why isn't this being used? Insurance companies also spend millions protesting federal contracts they do not win outright. CMS and HHS only audit and regulate these companies.
