LOL Gawker: Nancy Pelosi Calls John Boehner a Crybaby
Democracy is like a pungent onion for weepy Republican House Majority (ugh) Leader John Boehner. Remember that time he broke down about the health care bill? Nancy Pelosi thinks John Boehner is an immature crybaby.

Here's the exchange from a Q&A with the New York Times' Deborah Solomon:

What about John Boehner, the Ohio Republican who is expected to succeed you as House speaker in January? Did you see him tearing up on election night as he addressed his supporters?

You know what? He is known to cry. He cries sometimes when we're having a debate on bills. If I cry, it's about the personal loss of a friend or something like that. But when it comes to politics - no, I don't cry. I would never think of crying about any loss of an office, because that's always a possibility, and if you're professional, then you deal with it professionally.

1. She didn't actually say Boehner is an immature crybaby
If you read her comments, she doesn't say that John Boehner is an immature crybaby. I suppose one could read what she said, and conclude that John Boehner is an immature crybaby. But the actual words "John Boehner is an immature crybaby" are never articulated by Nancy Pelosi, so it's not really accurate to say that she said John Boehner is an immature crybaby. So, let's hear no more about that, because I want to be sure it's clear that Nancy Pelosi did not say that John Boehner is an immature crybaby.

Okay?

6. No, do they often get quotes wrong?
Because it should be clear for anyone reading Pelosi's comments that she didn't actually say that John Boehner is an immature crybaby. So no one should get the erroneous impression that Pelosi necessarily thinks that John Boehner is an immature crybaby. I mean, Pelosi in her heart of hearts might truly believe that John Boehner is an immature crybaby, but she didn't come right out and say that John Boehner is an immature crybaby. I just want to be sure the record is clear on whether or not Pelosi said John Boehner is an immature crybaby, because in reading that account, I think it's apparent that Pelosi did not say John Boehner is an immature crybaby.

Thank you for the opportunity to clarify my previous post.

Because I was concerned that they were giving the impression that Pelosi said John Boehner is an immature crybaby.

15. I can see how you might get the impression that I think John Boehner is an immature crybaby
And, in actual point of fact, I haven't given much thought to whether John Boehner is an immature crybaby or not, so I don't really have an opinion on whether it is true that John Boehner is an immature crybaby. My commentary in the last couple of posts was to make it plain that Nancy Pelosi had not actually voiced the words John Boehner is an immature crybaby, though it is possible that it is true that she thinks John Boehner is an immature crybaby. She just didn't actually say that John Boehner is an immature crybaby.

As PeaceNikki was so solicitous to point out as I was pondering whether Nancy Pelosi actually thought that John Boehner is an immature crybaby, the Gawker website is satirical in nature, so it's unlikely they were actually asserting that Nancy Pelosi had said that she thought John Boehner is an immature crybaby. I was greatly relieved by this news, as I thought it would be most unfortunate for Nancy Pelosi to opine that John Boehner is an immature crybaby.

I think I've sufficiently set up that Google bomb now.
